“This app is perfect for an architectural photographer: interior, exterior and industrial photographer, like myself. It is a perfect companion to rectilinear lens cameras. I have used various stitcher apps and found that this app Panorama is superior for stitching two and three overlapping photographs of architecture. A feature it advertises in the description which drew my attention: stitching photographs in a manner that eliminates the well known, common artifact of most other stitcher's methods, namely the large bending of horizontal straight lines and edges. (This fascinating feature motivated me to post a review for this product, something unusual for me.) This ubiquitous behavior of other apps creates panoramas that artificially distort reality, curving object edges, creating a false geometry, or perspective, of the scene photographed. If you are interested in creating very accurate panoramas recreating architectural scenes or skylines, or any other rectilinear scene, I highly recommend this product." -- Stephanie |
"More than anything else about this app, I love its ability to blend photos into panoramic montages. I havne't found another app that does this."

Panorama is a professional high quality image stitcher for iOS and Mac.
Panorama has perfected an image matching technique called homography, whose primary advantage over other apps of this type is that it does not warp horizontal edges in the panorama, making it ideal for photographing architectural scenes.
Create beautiful high-resolution panoramas on your Mac or iOS device. Extends the capability of your digital camera or scanner by stitching multiple overlapping pictures into stunning panoramas.
Following is a 360° 16 image panorama, created with Panorama. These are the images to be stitched, taken with an iPod Touch, placed into an array with PhotoTiles so you can see the individual photos:

Panorama employs an approach, namely homography, not found in other products of this type, removing artificial warped curvature of straight edges, creating a more realistic panorama.
Compare our stitcher to other stitchers. Other apps commonly warp horizontal straight edges, as shown here:
Our app does not warp horizontal straight edges:
Use Panorama when your camera can't fit the whole picture in the view finder, or your scanner's pane can't fit the whole page.
You can turn off stitching, by moving into "blending" mode, to create photomontages:
